Each week follows a simple, effective rhythm designed to build mastery one domain at a time. Here's what you can expect:
Students aren't grouped by grade alone. Placement is based on a combination of diagnostic results and a parent intake survey—so every child works alongside peers at a similar performance level, in an environment where they can truly grow.
Once enrolled, families receive a short intake form and a student confidence survey to help us build the right group from day one.

I taught kindergarten through 6th grade across multiple schools and several states — including years in EOG-tested classrooms where I saw firsthand what students need to walk into test day with confidence.
This is my 4th year running End of Year Boot Camps, and they've become one of the most requested programs at Humble Hive Academy. Why? Because they work. Students leave feeling prepared, parents leave feeling relieved, and the results speak for themselves.
I didn't just teach in tested grades — I've also worked as an instructional designer and targeted tutor, which means I know how to break down complex standards into bite-sized, engaging lessons that actually stick. Boot Camp isn't about cramming. It's about connecting the dots, building confidence, and giving students the tools they need to show what they know.
Humble Hive Academy was founded in memory of my son, Bradford Lucas, after I lost him to a rare genetic condition. It was a deliberate choice to build something beautiful from the hardest moment of my life.
My son Rhett Daniel is what keeps me growing. When no available school or program could meet his needs, I didn't wait for someone else to solve it. I completed additional training, deepened my practice, and learned how to give him what he needed — and in doing that, I expanded what Humble Hive Academy could offer every family.
The mission has always been the same: beautiful, results-driven learning that reaches every learner. Because I've sat where you're sitting. And I built this so you don't have to figure it out alone.
"Every child deserves a guide who actually sees them — and I built this so no family has to figure it out alone."
— Kasey, Founder · Humble Hive Academy🐝 Founded in Honor of Bradford Lucas
Humble Hive Academy was born from love, loss, and the belief that something beautiful can always be built from the hardest moments. Bradford's memory lives in every learner we serve.
Boot Camp is designed for students in grades K–6. Students are grouped by performance level to ensure instruction is aligned to the standards they'll see on test day.
Boot Camp is a great fit for any student who wants a focused, engaging review before end-of-year testing — whether they're struggling with specific concepts, need a confidence boost, or just want to make sure they're ready. Not sure? Reach out and we'll talk through it.
Life happens. If your child misses a Saturday session, we'll work with you to schedule a makeup session based on availability. Just let us know as soon as possible.
Absolutely! Many families bundle both programs. Reach out to ask about bundle pricing.
Yes — by design. Bite-sized lessons, engaging delivery, flexible pacing, and real-time support are built into every session. Every intake form asks about learning differences, ADHD, and sensory needs so we can support your child from day one.
Sessions are held on Saturdays via Zoom. Your child will join their performance-based group for a 45-minute session that includes a targeted mini-lesson, guided practice, and real-time teacher support. Between sessions, students can email questions anytime and receive video answers within 24 hours.
That's exactly what the Drop-In option is for. Try a single session for $55 and see if Boot Camp is the right fit before committing to the full program.
Nope. Everything your child needs is included in the learning packet you'll receive at enrollment — syllabus, diagnostic assessments, practice materials, anchor charts, and extension activities.
